BetSafe is a sports betting insurance platform that helps you minimize losses when your bets don't win. You pay a small premium (5-12% of your stake) and receive coverage (50-100%) if your bet loses. Think of it as insurance for your sports bets.
You can use BetSafe with any bookmaker operating in South Africa or Eswatini. We currently have direct integration with Mulasport.com for easy bet slip import, with more bookmakers being added soon. For other bookmakers, simply upload a screenshot of your bet slip when making a claim.
Making a claim is simple: Go to your dashboard, select the policy you want to claim against, upload proof of your losing bet (screenshot or import from Mulasport), and submit. Our team reviews claims within 24-48 hours, and approved payouts are sent directly to your account.
BetSafe covers single bets, accumulator bets (multis), and system bets across all major sports including football, rugby, cricket, tennis, basketball, and more. The bet must be placed after purchasing your policy and must lose entirely (partial losses on accumulators are handled case-by-case).
All BetSafe policies are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. You can make claims on bets placed within this period. If your policy expires, you'll need to purchase a new one to maintain coverage.
Approved claim payouts are sent directly to your MTN Mobile Money account (the same number used to purchase the policy). Payouts are processed in ZAR for South African users and SZL for Eswatini users. Most payouts are completed within 24 hours of approval.
Yes, the maximum coverage per policy depends on your coverage tier. For most users, the maximum stake amount is R10,000 per policy. Higher limits may be available for verified premium members. Contact our support team for more information.
